Prior to joining Drexel I was Research fellow at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (2005-2012) and visiting professor at UCLA (2007/2008 and 2011) and UC Berkeley (2011/2012). I am the author of 'Fascist Pigs: Technoscientific Organisms and the History of Fascism' (MIT Press, 2016). I am currently working on a collective manuscript with Francesca Bray, Barbara Han and John Lourdusamy on 'Moving Crops and the Scales of History'. Since January 2017 I am the co-editor with Amy Slaton of the journal History and Technology.
