I have a minor in Anthropology at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador; Master in Political Science at Universitá degli Studi di Bologna, Italy. I have taught in Ecuador at the Pontificia Universidad Católica (PUCE), the Universidad Internacional (UIDE) and the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar (UASB), where I coordinated the East Asian study program. I have also taught at the University of Padua in Italy. I am currently in the doctoral program at the University of California, Irvine, thanks to a scholarship from the Faculty Development Program of the Fulbright Commission
