Ian Ferris is a PhD student in Rhetoric at the University of Texas at Austin. His work is rooted in the interweaving of contemporary rhetorical scholarship—particularly ecological theories and field methodologies—with compositional pedagogy to develop interdisciplinary approaches to the wicked problems illuminated by ecological crisis.
