André Mintz is assistant professor of art and technology at the Fine Arts School of Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais – UFMG (Brazil). He is also a researcher at R-EST – UFMG, and at GAIA – USP. He holds a PhD and a masters degree in Social Communication from UFMG, and also a joint M.A. in Media Arts Cultures from Aalborg University (Denmark), Danube University Krems (Austria) and Lodz University (Poland). His research interests lie at the intersections of Science and Technology Studies (STS), media art and visual culture.
