EcoGovLab in the Field: Eastern Coachella Valley, Salton Sea, Imperial Valley

This archive supports EcoGovLab's visit to the Eastern Coachella Valley, Salton Sea, and Imperial Valley on March 18-19, 2023. The Field Campus is designed to support the following objectives:

1. To build and contribute to a social and theoretical understanding of environmental injustice in this setting, learning about the different elements and dynamics that contribute to environmental problems (social, political, economic, biochemical, technological).

2. To build university-community relationships and to connect environmental governance and advocacy efforts in urban and rural settings.

3. To build and contribute to a curriculum at different settings (formal and informal across K-16, and adult education)

See our workflow to understand how we are translating our archiving and annotating efforts to building collective knowledge.
