Working on the T-D-STS COVID-19 Project

- Apply to participate.  Applications will be approved on a rolling basis.  The Design Group will send you an email once you are approved then you can register for our digital workspace. 

- Register to join our digital workspace using the “register” link in the top right corner here of this page.  The site administrator will need to approve you sothere will be a short wait before you can log in.  

- Once you are logged in, request to join the Transnational STS COVID-19 Project Group.

- Post a Collaboration Biography (like this one; click through to others on the bottom right here).  To post your Collaboration Biography,  start at the  ANNOTATE button here.  On the drop-down list of STRUCTURED ANALYTICS, select "Transnational STS COVID-19 Collaboration Biographies."  You can edit and add details to this post as you figure out the questions and settings you are most interested in following. You can find the questions and copy their URLs here: Transnational STS COVID-19 Project Shared Questions.”  After posting, send a photo to Tim Schütz ([email protected]) so that he can add it to the set here.  

-- Sttart posting regularly in our question-space -- answering any question you want to, but trying to stay with one or two that you will steward (possibly with others, working as a small research group).  We are encouraging people to use their key questions for something like daily (or at least regular) fieldnotes. To post question responses: Start at the ANNOTATE button here.   On the drop-down list of STRUCTURED ANALYTICS, select "Transnational STS COVID-19 Project Shared Questions."  Click on the arrows at the right end of the gray bar to pull up the question list.  Select the one you want, click on it, then add a title (something that will communicate to others what is in the post) and a response.  Click FINISH if you are done. Or CONTINUE if you want to move on to another question.  All your annotations will be collected here.  Note that, for now, these posts are public.  We'll set up a restricted research space if we see a need going forward.  

- Get started with Zotero, free and open source bibliographic software that we will use to build the project bibliography. Join the project's Zotero STS bibliography on COVID-19.
