Critical Commentary

In May 1997, EPA established the Office of Children’s Health Protection (OCHP) to support the National Agenda to Protect Children’s Health from Environmental Threats. OCHP is  Mission of OCHP is to implement environmental health protection of children as a fundamental goal of Public Health and Environmental Protection in the United States and around the world. OCP's major goals are to reduce the environmental health threats on children through policy, enforcement actions, research and application of science that focuses on childhood vulnerabilities, and community-based programs.
