Critical Commentary

New Jersey Institute of Technology's (NJIT) plan relies heavily on "converged learning," which means that classes will be held in-person and online at the same time, particularly for classes taken mostly by first and second year students. However, they seem to be allowing more instructors to choose synchronous online learning instead.

They also have plans for testing, physical distancing, aggressive cleaning, and even air and sewage monitoring.
