This data visualization shows the income of the participants who attended the 2018 Workshops as described in the pre-workshop surveys. Income was one of the most difficult demographics to measure, over half of the participants chose not to answer and there were frequent instances in which participants gave non-numerical answers. This made the data more complex and more difficult to understand through data visualization alone. It also demonstrates how income can often be viewed as a private and sensitive subject.
