This week, the groups were regrouped, the interviewees were slightly different, and two more lively grandmas were added. During the interview, I discovered that the grandma Wen I interviewed last week is considered a senior figure in the tribe and was the first few families where the tribe began to live in the current place, so the other two will also mention it in the interview. A few words of "what happened to my elder sister before" gave me the opportunity to have a more in-depth chat. Although the teaching assistant gave us a direction, such as talking about songs about migration or impressive songs, which helped us understand more deeply, but the content of our discussion was still far away from this topic. The grandmas shared them How to find a job after leaving Taitung. Most of them are engaged in labor-intensive jobs, such as working in glass factories and umbrella factories. When they moved to Xiangshan area, they gained more work experience related to fishery. Corresponding to the development of Taiwan. In addition to their personal stories, the grandmas also shared the photos they took with their mobile phones every day, including photos of wrapping betel nuts, catching fish in the sea, and photos of catches and food. From these photos, we can clearly feel Whether it is the difference in lifestyle or the gap in eating habits, it is very clearly presented in the photos. Among them are several photos of seafood, such as conch and sea melon seeds. Grandma further shared the tips on how to catch them and when to catch them. At the end of this week's course, each group took turns to share the stories they heard, such as what they saw and heard during the migration process, growth experience, etc., and still ended with singing and dancing. However, after the grandmothers explained the content of the songs they sang, it can be found that most of them are related to daily life, and the content of the lyrics is also very interesting.
