Citizen science to El Vado community

In connection with other research groups at the university, we got in touch with neighbors of El Vado in order to discuss what they thought of the urban intervention and in an attempt to include citizens in our air quality monitoring. Our approach to citizen science was partly undertaken by providing technical methods for air pollution monitoring (like the bucket method) while thinking the intervention as a way to reduce car traffic and improve air quality, which have been neighbors’ main demands for years.
